The latest revisions to the Missouri Certified Emergency Manager (MoCEM) Program have been announced! The MoCEM Committee has made the latest revisions to the program; which include:
* Recertification for Levels 1 and 2
* Code of Professional Conduct
* Clarification on point re-use, "double dipping", and self documentation.
As discussed at the 2011 Conference; Annual Membership Dues for 2012 have been increased from $15.00 per year to $25.00 per year. This is the first dues increase that MEPA has seen in over 15 years! Although we do realize that budgets are tight for everybody, costs have increased as well; and the Board felt that this increase was prudent and acceptable.
As a reminder, memberships do not "auto-renew" and you must submit a completed membership application, along with payment, to renew your membership.

"The purpose of this Association shall be: To coordinate the efforts of its members in a common front, as they protect the lives and property of all persons within its territorial limits against man-made or natural disasters, and to preserve our national security...To serve as a clearinghouse for ideas, suggestions, and courses of action between our members...To act in concert with a professional advisory capacity to other organizations, local emergency management agencies and input to state and federal agencies regarding or upgrading emergency management capabilities."
