WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Workshop Objectives
- At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will learn about:
- Coordinating preparations for hosting evacuees.
- Establishing a reunification process for evacuees.
- The evacuation tracking process.
- The integration of Federal, State, Local and Voluntary Organizations in response to a catastrophic earthquake.
- New Access and Functional Needs planning.
- Evacuations from Amy Dawson of the state of Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.
- The importance of NMSZ planning and evacuation from Beth Freeman, Regional Administrator of FEMA Region VII.

Lodging
Reimbursement for overnight lodging is available from FEMA. FEMA may reimburse for lodging cost for Tuesday night August 10, 2010. All attendees will receive more information from FEMA after registration. Please wait for confirmation from FEMA/SEMA before making your reservation.

Participants will be on their own for meals.
