The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency makes Emergency Management Training available for free to local entities; and in most cases will reimburse for lodging and meals for students traveling over 50 miles to attend courses.

FEMA Integrated Emergency Management Courses
The Federal Emergency Management Agency Integrated Emergency Management Courses (IEMCs) are a 4 and ½-day exercise-based training activity that places Emergency Operations Center (EOC) personnel under realistic crisis situations within a structured learning environment. These courses generally cover lodging and reimburse travel expenses.
